I am about to start a new job that will involve me carrying a sidearm. The issue gun is a Sigarms Sig Pro SP2340 in .40 S&W. Has anybody had any experience with gun? How is it as far as accuracy, reliability, etc? I will also be able to qualify with a personal gun (1911) and carry it but I was wondering what to expect with the duty gun..

Does anyone have any info or experience with these guns? From what I understand they are a polymer framed gun. Other than that I am reliant on what I read from reviews. Southern Ohio Gun has some used ones for $350 with night sights. Not sure if that is a good price or what. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I just purchased a SIG PRO SP2340 .40 S&W pistol, (still waiting for State Police approval before I can take possesion) it's not the so called "Blueline" LEO version, but from what I understand essentially the same gun. I've done a fair amount of research on these, most of the LEO guys that carried (or still carry) these are pretty darn happy with them, some of the "weekend warriors", not so much, I was looking for some opinions from people that actually own one of these.
