About Sig Sauer P226

The P226 was designed as a service-type gun for the U.S. Army and has been carried by the U.S. Navy SEALs, Texas Rangers and other military and law enforcers worldwide. It’s design is based on the P220, but it has a higher capacity and double-stack magazines.

It’s a mechanically locked, recoil operated DA/SA or DAO. The barrel length is 4.4 in, the height is 5.5 in and width is 1.5 in. The gun has many variations which differ in cartridges, either a 9x19mm Parabellum, .40S&W, .357 SIG or a .22LR (only on the classic 22 model). The gun is fed by magazines which can hold from 10 up to 20 rounds. It comes with a ‘E2’ Enhanced Ergonomics grip.
